Chin Enhancement

Underdeveloped or small chins may disturb the harmony of the face or make other parts of the face such as the nose appear out of proportion. Definition and contouring of the chin can be achieved by carefully placed hyaluronic acid based dermal fillers. At Revivify London, we strive to achieve facial harmony, and will look carefully at your facial proportions and work accordingly to improve them.

Do not apply makeup or creams for at least 6 hours after your treatment. Mineral makeup may be applied after the treatment.

Apply ice and arnica cream if you get any bruising.

The treated areas should not be exposed to extreme heat such as sunbeds or saunas for at least 2 weeks.

How long will the procedure take?

Typically between 60 and 90 minutes.

How long will it last?

Most hyaluronic acid based dermal fillers will last between 6-12 months. Longer lasting dermal fillers can last up to 18 months. Hyaluronic acid is naturally degraded in the body over a period of time, and the time taken can vary from person to person.

Can I see results straight after treatment?

Yes! There may be post procedural swelling, but this will resolve within 1- 2 weeks.

Will it be painful?

The procedure may be a little uncomfortable. We can make this more comfortable by applying topical anesthetic cream before the procedure, or by giving you a numbing injection prior to the procedure. Additionally, the dermal fillers that we use contain Lidocaine, which is numbing agent.

How do I know if I will like the result?

At your consultation we can show you the enhanced results using computer simulation software.

What is the downtime?

There may be temporary swelling, redness and sometimes bruising. This can easily be covered with mineral makeup after the treatment. You will be able to carry on with your daily activities soon after the treatment.

What are the possible side effects?

Immediate redness, swelling, burning and itching around the treatment site are not unusual and should settle within the first few hours

Bruising and swelling lasting up to 2 weeks are not very common and should resolve without any intervention

There may be slight blue discolouration of the treatment area

Although infections or abscesses are rare, it can happen. In case of infection, it will be treated with antibiotics
